Simply remove the base portion of your closed air cleaner (see illustration) and install our aluminum lid. It is formed so the lip on the lid will hold your stock air cleaner in place. This, in turn, will expose half of your air cleaner to the open air allowing it to draw in the air it needs under acceleration.

We recommend the better flowing K&N filter we offer. This method also allows for easy return to stock position for when you take your car in for emissions inspections. The car will still look stock under the hood.
