HI-TECH VALVE BODY KIT for the 200 4R Transmission

This Hi-Tech Valve Body Kit is made by Art Carr, considered the leader in the field for work with the 200 4R transmissions found in your Buick. His own personal T-Type served as a test bed for several years. His work’s been featured many times in both HOT ROD and CAR CRAFT and he also did the transmission work on one of the original Turbo Trans Am Pace Cars. Ken Duttweiler, builder of several of the fastest Turbo Regals has the Art Carr touch on all their transmissions. It’s also the choice of many of our subscribers.

This kit will only work with the stock lock-up type torque convertor. It will NOT work if you already had your valve body modified by another company’s kit. Unlike some of the other kits, Art Carr’s is designed specifically for the 200 4R Buick trans, so shift points remain the same as the factory specs which is ideal. Each shift point is made firmer, but not harsh.
The Art Carr Hi-Tech Valve Body Kit will improve the life of your transmission and provide firmer, more responsive shifts and will increase manual control over shift points. This kit is intended for vehicles that place heavier demands on their transmission, such as high-performance cars, campers, and motor homes.

Complete, easy-to-follow instructions are included. We HIGHLY recommend you install some sort of transmission cooler before any modifications are done to the transmission for a longer transmission life. This is another great way to get the POWER to the street!
