“AMERICAN MUSCLE CAR” DVD

This DVD, “American Muscle Car - BuickfiRegal GNX, ‘55-’57 Chevrolet Bel Air,” was produced by SPEEDVISION. It includes shows profiling some of the most influential musclecars in auto history. We used to carry this show back in 2000-2001 in video VHS format. Since then, Speedvision has shown these numerous times.

This DVD is narrated by Tony Messano and features the Buick Regal GNX and Grand National, and 1955-1957 Chevrolet Bel Air.

The coverage is very informative, accurate and was excellently photographed throughout. It includes an interview with Mike Doble, manager of the Buick Advanced Vehicles Department. There’s also an interview with Paul Zazarine, a well-known car magazine editor. The GNX portion of the show clearly shows the advantages of the unique GNX suspension and how it reacts, especially under hard acceleration. They claim the GNXfisuspension shaves one second off 1/4-mile times. They also show a 1986 Designers Series T-Type. They show the early V6 back in 1962 as well as the 1982-1/2 Grand National.

The segment on the 1955-1957 Chevrolet is equally well done.

Although 30 years separate the two car lines, both cars have a huge cult following today! This unique DVD runs approximately 50 minutes and would be a welcomed addition to any car enthusiast’s collection.
