This is the first in a series of books on Dennis Kirban’s unique Hurst memorabilia measures 8-1/2″ x 11″ and features a full-color front and rear covers (shown in the first photo) and a full-color inside front cover.

The famous Hurst wheels have become the most desirable and collectible wheel among vintage car owners, especially for GTOs. Hurst always strived “…to furnish the utmost in safety, performance, quality and value.” We even show the original artwork for the wheel, shown in the other photo.

Here’s proof of their commitment in all areas of their business, not only the products, but also in promotions, advertising, events and dealer direct marketing materials.

Information for this book has been compiled using Dennis Kirban’s personal collection of Hurst wheel memorabilia and research material. His collection has some one-of-a-kind original artwork, sketches, and conceptual drawings for the Hurst wheel and spinners, including the actual printer’s mechanical for the 1968 Hurst Catalog cover.

Among the varied items are application charts, general history of their wheel, marketing literature and related promotional items and accessories, such as the rare silver and gold Hurst wheel cuff link sets, Hurst shifter pen and key chains.

Also featured is the Hurst/Pontiac 1965 GTO “GeeTO Tiger” Contest car, showing the Special Promotional Bulletin and actual 45 rpm records. It includes Hurst wheel testing specifications, Hurst center caps and beauty rings, general pricing, various wheel packaging, dealer posters and promotional displays are covered. Shown too, are catalogs, magazine editorial coverage, advertisements, Hurst newsletters, toy models and other prototypes.
