AFTERMARKET PCV VALVE

Another low cost maintenance item critical for these cars.

AC Delco discontinued the original PCV valve from GM (our old Part #6645). In researching a correct replacement, we found some automotive companies only list one part number for all 1986-1987 Regals, including the regular V6 and V8.

The correct one for the Turbo V6 needs a stronger PCV valve to prevent boost from entering the crankcase. The one we offer is specific for the Turbo application, and is made in the U.S.A.

The owners manual recommends the valve be replaced every 30,000 miles or if you notice it’s clogged. Because it’s so important for these motors to breathe properly and the cost of this item is so reasonable, we recommend you replace this PCV valve more often.

NOTE - We recommend you also replace the PCV valve grommet when you replace the PCV valve. We offer a 1986-1987 Turbo Regal reproduction PCV valve grommet, Part #7214.
