MINI REPLICA “HURST VINTAGE CATALOG” CAN

First time ever offered! A licensed replica of the vintage 1968 HURST catalog cover on a collectible mini metal can. We first start with a new sturdy metal can, which helps to avoid dents. The art is digitally printed on a high-quality vinyl wrap, which is laminated and then heat sealed on the can. The lamination enhances the colors, helps to protect the vinyl from sun fade, and makes it more durable.

The can measures about 5″ tall x 4″ diameter, and has a pop-on black plastic cap. It’s the ideal size to use as a pen holder for your desk, to display on a shelf with your other collectibles or to add to your car show display.

The art has been carefully digitized from a mint original catalog from our private collection of Hurst literature and memorabilia.

This was the first catalog Hurst produced during the 1960s that featured all their popular products and accomplishments on the front and back cover. It was the last catalog to show the Hurst wheels, which can be seen under the Hurst logo and also on the back cover in one of the stand-up displays. A second version of this same Hurst catalog was printed later, but the pictures of the Hurst wheels from the front and back cover were eliminated.

The popular “Hemi Under Glass” car is also featured. This well-known Hurst race car was showcased at various race tracks and events around the country. Under the Hemi Under Class Cuda is a photo of the Hurst plant in Warminster, PA, where they moved to in 1965. This was the first plant where they finally had everything under one roof.

Other pictures include Linda Vaughn, “Miss Hurst Golden Shifter” standing on a platform car with their trademark huge shifter handle, the Hurst “Shifty Doctor” van, various shifters and shifter handles, banners, product packages, and several track shots. In the center of the back cover, Hurst pays homage to one of their first products, engine conversion mounts. By 1968 Hurst was making shifter assemblies for virtually every OEM manufacturer.

This item appeals to any automotive Hurst enthusiast from that vintage era, and is licensed by Hurst Performance Products. The legendary Hurst name and heritage represents the most popular automotive aftermarket company associated with the American muscle cars.
