Reproduction GAS TANK RUBBER INSULATOR STRAPS (2)

We have reproduced the gas tank insulator straps that wrap around the gas tank so the metal straps do not dig into the actual gas tank. These straps are identical to the original and attach the same way as the originals.

Since these cars are now over 20 years old, in many cases these insulators are in bad shape and may be frayed or ripped.

Now you can replace them at the same time as you install the new gas tank bands to secure the tank.

NOTE - Check out our Part #7247 for the reproduction gas tank and Part #7103 for the actual reproduction gas tank stainless straps (2), if you need them. This would also be an excellent time to upgrade the fuel pump, Part #1540.

Another nice finishing touch for any under carriage restoration.
