STILL AVAILABLE FOR SALE GNX 393 WITH 27,800 ACTUAL MILES -
This GNX has had the same owner for the last 3 years. In those three years he has driven it less than 1,000 miles. Car has had 3 previous owners, one of which owned it for 20 years. Originally sold down south when it was new.
Car comes with the window sticker and all related documents including the rare GNX jacket and book. Garage kept still retains the new car smell. Two things don’t work, one you can probably guess - the power antenna the other is the AC has a slight leak. Neither issue affects the value. Car has all the original paint, no dents, no dings. Brand new correct size tires. Owner had the wheels redone so they appear like new!
Garage kept in a heated garage located in Michigan. Exhaust has been replaced but mufflers appear stock. Has a test pipe but the seller has the original catalytic converter. A real GNX!
Price is $92,500. Keep in mind JJ Best, one of the premier finance companies for collectable cars puts the GNX in the $130 grand price range for a pristine example. This GNX has not been offered for sale in the last 3 years anywhere else except through me for the owner. Enough extras, mostly literature related, goes with the car and would virtually fill the trunk. Keep in mind with the proper credit rating, JJ Best will finance as much as 90% and this GNX is priced below its true retail market value. The seller wants to move in another direction and has priced his GNX to sell. This GNX has only gone about 1,000 miles in the last 3 years when he purchased it. PHOTO 2 - The photo to the left we show still in the original manila envelope the front license plate bracket never used. Originally Buick stashed this manila envelope behind the spare tire. Many states do not require a front license plate bracket so it was never installed on the car. The photo to the right shows a very rare original AC Delco fan delay/relay. This is the largest relay located on the inner driver's fender. Since it is not a sealed relay water can get in it and corrode it. Even if your car never sees the rain when you wash your car, water can seep into this relay. When that happens it can trigger the fan to come on anytime when the car is off and eventually kill the battery.
PHOTO 3 - The photo to the left shows in the original GM bag a brand new radio bezel. The photo to the right shows alongside the original GM box a never used original ultra rare 1986-1987 mass air duct hose. I actually have 2 of them NOS in the original box. To my knowledge no company has reproduced that unique hose. We do sell a nice upgraded replacement. Note if you are a subscriber these items are listed in the Rare Parts section.
PAST MEMORIES AND A COOL IDEA -
In my vast collection of Turbo Regal related literature I found this October 5th 1987 newspaper ad for Seaview Buick and Jeep store. Remember Buick was in the midst in October of 1987 of extending the 1987 Grand National run through the end of the year in 1987. This would add approximately 10,000 more Grand Nationals to the market from what I recall. Course the big push for Buick dealers was the new front wheel drive 1988 Regals which is evident in this ad. Interestingly they also list a brand new Renault Alliance for a mere $6695.
Notice the give away price on the new 1987 Grand National just $15,995. No price is listed for the new front wheel drive Regal. Although it does say it is priced lower than the 1987 model. That statement still holds true even now in the year 2021. A 1987 Grand National will always be worth more than the 1988 front wheel drive Regal!

The bottom left photo shows the small memorial area by the one corner of our pole building where I have buried our two longest cats, Smokie and Tiger. Both are sorely missed and provided many many years of enjoyment for us. The bottom right photo I spotted this clever idea when I stopped to look at a Harley bike that was for sale. This gorilla appeared to be hand carved and situated like it was replacing one of the exterior porch pillars!
ONE OWNER HARLEY DAVIDSON ROAD KING FOR SALE -
This is a one-owner Road King Harley Davidson bike that has never ever been dropped. It is Kirban Quality with just 12,800 original miles. Bike is a 2008 model. Cost $19,000 new. Fully equipped with some nice accessories. Options include Screaming Eagles pipes, leather hard saddlebags, 6-speed with cruise. The seller only wants $7500 firm for the bike. Only used three times. Again Kirban Quality. I pass this camper almost every day and find it hard to believe with the demand for campers this one sits not sold! It is less than 2 miles from our house. It has only been used 3 times. The exact same model for the new 2021 is $25,000. This can be bought for $19,500 and probably a little less since it's still for sale. This is 20 foot long, set up for solar power, swing out awning, and the other side slides out. Empty it weighs just 4,000 lbs. Not much more than a typical full size car. The exterior shell has no seams so it will never ever leak in the rain. COMING SOON 8,000 MILE 1987 GRAND NATIONAL WITH FACTORY ASTROOF FOR SALE
Car should be in my hands as you read this. Car didn't need major work to bring it back to show condition. The exhaust was replaced with a new Pypes system. The turbo was replaced and the car got a complete high end paint job. The driver's seat was redone as was the steering wheel. Car also received a new headliner. Typical things needed due to age. A true 8,000 mile Grand National with the desirable astro roof option. This car is also for sale and will be priced to sell under 50 grand. Remember JJ Best is a great source for financing and we will consider a partial trade for any muscle car as long as I see the car. We will post photos next week. UPDATE ON THE 1987 GRAND NATIONAL HARDTOP 19,100 MILES -
THIS CAR IS SOLD AND PAID FOR. Car has been totally restored with extreme detail using many of the original parts. This Grand National spent several winters outside which is why it was totally restored with no expenses spared. Richard Clark rebuilt the entire engine. Car had only been titled once so every effort was made to save the original parts and inspection marks etc.
The interior was all replaced using the very rare original NOS pallex material not reproduction! The material alone was $300 a yard and it took 8 yards to do the entire interior. This does not include the cost to cut and fit it on the seats and door panels. Car was totally dismantled. Hundreds of hours were put in the body work for a mirror show quality paint job. The frame was painted, all the suspension parts and springs were powder coated. NOS GM roof rail seals were used. New power window motors, new reproduction Goodyear tires on mint original rims. Car is Kirban Quality. The car was rust free, no rot or metal work was required. All the body panels and gaps were perfectly aligned. The original radiator was rebuilt. Factory headers received the high heat ceramic coating. New Limit Engineering turbo was installed with a 1 year factory warranty. Corect new AC Delco battery. New motor mounts. Transmission completely sericed. New front and rear shocks control arms and new bushings ball joints. New brakes all around calipers pads rotors drums and shoes. New front and rear powder coated springs. Digital dash has been rebuilt by Caspers and reads past 85 mph. Even the original numbered plug wires were retained. A binder full of notes goes with the car.
NOS tail light lenses and car rides on brand new reproduction Goodyear GT tires. Frame off restoration. All new 22-piece body bushing kit and core support kit. Corect new exhaust system. New turbo. Valve covers and plenum powder coated. Radiator redone.
Options include digital dash, power windows, power door locks, tilt wheel, cruise, EQ radio, power antenna, dual remote mirrors, posi, and rear defroster. Original owners manual warranty booklet, maintenance books AC Delco radio book. Copy of the original dealer invoice, and original 1987 sales brochure.

The price is $42,900. A good investment that can only climb as each year goes by. Since I am handling the sale we will consider a partial trade with any 1986-1987 Turbo Regal or other high performance car considered. I would have to see the car. I would pay the difference for the trade in allowance. Car is currently at my place so I can supply photos of the undercarriage etc as I have it on my lift.
The owner is having this car picked up and taken home. His plan is to drive it a bit this summer and send it to a collectible auction later this year. I am still trying to market it for him until such time he takes it to an auction. He resides in the Buffalo, New York area.
UPDATE 1965 PONTIAC LEMANS/TEMPEST PROJECT CAR FOR SALE -
I have not yet advertised this car on the various Pontiac forums until she gets the title back in her name. Once that has been done I will advertise on the Pontiac forums as a good many of those people will remember my name for sure. This car belongs to the person I just sold the last Grand National for. He had purchased this 1965 Lemans/Tempest ex race car in the early 1970s. It has been stored inside all those years. It is a post coupe. It has most of the basic parts to convert it to a GTO. It was painted back in the 1970s and never reassembled since that time. Car is a 4-speed with a console and a Hurst shifter. It has the proper 1965 GTO optional plastic wood wheel and the correct 1965 rally gauge cluster with tachometer. Under the hood sitting undisturbed since the late 1970s is a V8 engine probably a 389. It does have factory tri-power with the factory 3 air cleaners. Manual brakes. Car is painted a very dark blue and appears to have an original factory vinyl roof. All the glass is good. Seats are black and are in mint condition. Car rolls on 4 tires. It is a project to finish assembling. Most of the parts appear to be there. Car appears to be missing the inside door panels and carpet. Headliner is intact. Extra tail light bezels go with the car.
The wife is working on getting the title into her name as it was never transferred. Providing this can be done properly will determine the price of this 1965 Pontiac with all the parts. Car is located about 1 hour from my location and would have to be trailered. She is working on getting the title in her name since it was never transferred years ago when her husband bought the car. This may take several weeks.

SEVERAL UNBELIEVABLE PRICES -
A Honus Wagner baseball card just sold at auction for a cool $3.75 million dollars. At a collector car auction a rare 1971 Hemi Cuda convertible 4-speed was bid to $4.8 million dollars and was not enough to seal the deal! Pre auction estimates pegged the car's value at $6.5 million. Course like all of you reading this, I had neither tucked away at my house!

This annual event is held at Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun, Maryland. There is no rain date. I have gone every year for the last 5 or 6 years. Always a good event. Plenty of room and plenty of cars. This event was not held in 2020 so a lot of pent up demand for the return. I will be donating items for this event and I will be there as a vendor. I don;t bring many items but I do a lot of buying. So if you plan to attend, see me if you bring items to sell.

We discovered that FedEx will not forward any packages that are sent to the old PO Box or to our old address in Plumsteadville. Instead they deliver the packages to the old address and leave them outside or send them back to the shipper. They refuse to forward and say that we should notify the shipper. In most cases, we have no idea when we are getting packages shipped back to us.
If you have any cores that are being sent back to us, be sure to use the correct address, especially if you use FedEx. Otherwise, we may not receive your package or it may be sent back to you.

Here is the information on our credits for cores.
STEERING WHEEL CORES. Currently we need good 1986-1987 Turbo Regal steering cores. They must be straight and not have rusted spokes. We will issue a Letter of Credit of $100 for each acceptable core. You must email me [email protected] a photo first to make sure the steering wheel is acceptable.
POWERMASTER BRAKE UNITS. Currently, we are accepting powermaster brake units. We give a $150 Letter of Credit for each acceptable core. If you include the turbo pedal, add $10. You would receive a $160 Letter of Credit. To avoid having your core not accepted, you MUST first email me a photo of the core you plan to send in - [email protected] - We will NOT accept any cores that have severe rust issues or have been disassembled. Core must have the brake switch and brake bowl reservoir. Too many of the cores we have been getting are in such terrible shape they are worthless to us.
TURBO CORES must be the 1986-1987 Turbo Regal stock turbo. They must be complete. We will issue you a $175 Letter of Credit for each acceptable core. We need cores now.
If you ship to us, the post office is the cheapest method. Pack the item(s) with a note with your name, address and phone number.

Good news - We now accept Classified Ads in our weekly Inner Circle emails. Over the years several customers have asked about placing an ad in our weekly Inner Circle.
Here are the options and the costs.
Ads can be from any individual or company. It needs to be automotive related, meaning it does not need to be specifically Turbo Regal related. It can be for something for sale or something wanted.
Maximum number of words is 125 words, which is about 7 to 9 lines of copy. No photos. You can list a website. We recommend you state your name, phone number or email, a price, and your location in your ad.
The cost for 2 consecutive weeks is $25. The cost for 4 consecutive weeks is $40. You save $10 with the 4-week plan. No changes can be made to your existing running ad. You can only run one ad at any given time. We will have a code system at the end of your ad, so we will know what week number your ad is to run - 2 or 4 weeks.
It can be an ad for something for sale or an ad for something you are looking for.
We have never missed a single week since we started the Inner Circle email format in 2009. It’s something I enjoy doing and I just always seem to have enough material to write about.
Our weekly Inner Circle reaches over 3,500 members every Wednesday direct to their inbox. The Inner Circle also appears every Wednesday on our website with the related photos. Your ad would be visible to both groups of readers. So, the exposure to your ad is well over 3,400 potential buyers.

Our supplier has located about 20 pairs of the factory original 1986-1987 Turbo Regal rear springs. These are brand new.
Another excellent replacement for any suspension restoration. These are almost all sold out!

STILL AVAILABLE FOR SALE GNX 393 WITH 27,800 ACTUAL MILES -
This GNX has had the same owner for the last 3 years. In those three years he has driven it less than 1,000 miles. Car has had 3 previous owners, one of which owned it for 20 years. Originally sold down south when it was new.
Car comes with the window sticker and all related documents including the rare GNX jacket and book. Garage kept still retains the new car smell. Two things don’t work, one you can probably guess - the power antenna the other is the AC has a slight leak. Neither issue affects the value. Car has all the original paint, no dents, no dings. Brand new correct size tires. Owner had the wheels redone so they appear like new!
Garage kept in a heated garage located in Michigan. Exhaust has been replaced but mufflers appear stock. Has a test pipe but the seller has the original catalytic converter. A real GNX!
Price is $92,500. Keep in mind JJ Best, one of the premier finance companies for collectable cars puts the GNX in the $130 grand price range for a pristine example. This GNX has not been offered for sale in the last 3 years anywhere else except through me for the owner. Enough extras, mostly literature related, goes with the car and would virtually fill the trunk. Keep in mind with the proper credit rating, JJ Best will finance as much as 90% and this GNX is priced below its true retail market value. The seller wants to move in another direction and has priced his GNX to sell. This GNX has only gone about 1,000 miles in the last 3 years when he purchased it. PHOTO 2 - The photo to the left we show still in the original manila envelope the front license plate bracket never used. Originally Buick stashed this manila envelope behind the spare tire. Many states do not require a front license plate bracket so it was never installed on the car. The photo to the right shows a very rare original AC Delco fan delay/relay. This is the largest relay located on the inner driver's fender. Since it is not a sealed relay water can get in it and corrode it. Even if your car never sees the rain when you wash your car, water can seep into this relay. When that happens it can trigger the fan to come on anytime when the car is off and eventually kill the battery.
PHOTO 3 - The photo to the left shows in the original GM bag a brand new radio bezel. The photo to the right shows alongside the original GM box a never used original ultra rare 1986-1987 mass air duct hose. I actually have 2 of them NOS in the original box. To my knowledge no company has reproduced that unique hose. We do sell a nice upgraded replacement. Note if you are a subscriber these items are listed in the Rare Parts section.
PAST MEMORIES AND A COOL IDEA -
In my vast collection of Turbo Regal related literature I found this October 5th 1987 newspaper ad for Seaview Buick and Jeep store. Remember Buick was in the midst in October of 1987 of extending the 1987 Grand National run through the end of the year in 1987. This would add approximately 10,000 more Grand Nationals to the market from what I recall. Course the big push for Buick dealers was the new front wheel drive 1988 Regals which is evident in this ad. Interestingly they also list a brand new Renault Alliance for a mere $6695.
Notice the give away price on the new 1987 Grand National just $15,995. No price is listed for the new front wheel drive Regal. Although it does say it is priced lower than the 1987 model. That statement still holds true even now in the year 2021. A 1987 Grand National will always be worth more than the 1988 front wheel drive Regal!

The bottom left photo shows the small memorial area by the one corner of our pole building where I have buried our two longest cats, Smokie and Tiger. Both are sorely missed and provided many many years of enjoyment for us. The bottom right photo I spotted this clever idea when I stopped to look at a Harley bike that was for sale. This gorilla appeared to be hand carved and situated like it was replacing one of the exterior porch pillars!
ONE OWNER HARLEY DAVIDSON ROAD KING FOR SALE -
This is a one-owner Road King Harley Davidson bike that has never ever been dropped. It is Kirban Quality with just 12,800 original miles. Bike is a 2008 model. Cost $19,000 new. Empty it weighs just 4,000 lbs. Not much more than a typical full size car. The exterior shell has no seams so it will never ever leak in the rain. COMING SOON 8,000 MILE 1987 GRAND NATIONAL WITH FACTORY ASTROOF FOR SALE
Car should be in my hands as you read this. Car didn't need major work to bring it back to show condition. The exhaust was replaced with a new Pypes system. The turbo was replaced and the car got a complete high end paint job. The driver's seat was redone as was the steering wheel. Car also received a new headliner. Typical things needed due to age. A true 8,000 mile Grand National with the desirable astro roof option. This car is also for sale and will be priced to sell under 50 grand. Remember JJ Best is a great source for financing and we will consider a partial trade for any muscle car as long as I see the car. We will post photos next week. UPDATE ON THE 1987 GRAND NATIONAL HARDTOP 19,100 MILES -
THIS CAR IS SOLD AND PAID FOR. Car has been totally restored with extreme detail using many of the original parts. This Grand National spent several winters outside which is why it was totally restored with no expenses spared. Richard Clark rebuilt the entire engine. Car had only been titled once so every effort was made to save the original parts and inspection marks etc.
The interior was all replaced using the very rare original NOS pallex material not reproduction! The material alone was $300 a yard and it took 8 yards to do the entire interior. This does not include the cost to cut and fit it on the seats and door panels. Car was totally dismantled. Hundreds of hours were put in the body work for a mirror show quality paint job. The frame was painted, all the suspension parts and springs were powder coated. NOS GM roof rail seals were used. New power window motors, new reproduction Goodyear tires on mint original rims. Car is Kirban Quality. The car was rust free, no rot or metal work was required. All the body panels and gaps were perfectly aligned. The original radiator was rebuilt. Factory headers received the high heat ceramic coating. New Limit Engineering turbo was installed with a 1 year factory warranty. Corect new AC Delco battery. New motor mounts. Transmission completely sericed. New front and rear shocks control arms and new bushings ball joints. New brakes all around calipers pads rotors drums and shoes. New front and rear powder coated springs. Digital dash has been rebuilt by Caspers and reads past 85 mph. Even the original numbered plug wires were retained. A binder full of notes goes with the car.
NOS tail light lenses and car rides on brand new reproduction Goodyear GT tires. Frame off restoration. All new 22-piece body bushing kit and core support kit. Corect new exhaust system. New turbo. Valve covers and plenum powder coated. Radiator redone.
Options include digital dash, power windows, power door locks, tilt wheel, cruise, EQ radio, power antenna, dual remote mirrors, posi, and rear defroster. Original owners manual warranty booklet, maintenance books AC Delco radio book. Copy of the original dealer invoice, and original 1987 sales brochure.

The price is $42,900. A good investment that can only climb as each year goes by. Since I am handling the sale we will consider a partial trade with any 1986-1987 Turbo Regal or other high performance car considered. I would have to see the car. I would pay the difference for the trade in allowance. Car is currently at my place so I can supply photos of the undercarriage etc as I have it on my lift.
The owner is having this car picked up and taken home. His plan is to drive it a bit this summer and send it to a collectible auction later this year. I am still trying to market it for him until such time he takes it to an auction. He resides in the Buffalo, New York area.
UPDATE 1965 PONTIAC LEMANS/TEMPEST PROJECT CAR FOR SALE -
I have not yet advertised this car on the various Pontiac forums until she gets the title back in her name. Once that has been done I will advertise on the Pontiac forums as a good many of those people will remember my name for sure. This car belongs to the person I just sold the last Grand National for. He had purchased this 1965 Lemans/Tempest ex race car in the early 1970s. It has been stored inside all those years. It is a post coupe. It has most of the basic parts to convert it to a GTO. It was painted back in the 1970s and never reassembled since that time. Car is a 4-speed with a console and a Hurst shifter. It has the proper 1965 GTO optional plastic wood wheel and the correct 1965 rally gauge cluster with tachometer. Under the hood sitting undisturbed since the late 1970s is a V8 engine probably a 389. It does have factory tri-power with the factory 3 air cleaners. Manual brakes. Car is painted a very dark blue and appears to have an original factory vinyl roof. All the glass is good. Seats are black and are in mint condition. Car rolls on 4 tires. It is a project to finish assembling. Most of the parts appear to be there. Car appears to be missing the inside door panels and carpet. Headliner is intact. Extra tail light bezels go with the car.
The wife is working on getting the title into her name as it was never transferred. Providing this can be done properly will determine the price of this 1965 Pontiac with all the parts. Car is located about 1 hour from my location and would have to be trailered. She is working on getting the title in her name since it was never transferred years ago when her husband bought the car. This may take several weeks.

SEVERAL UNBELIEVABLE PRICES -
A Honus Wagner baseball card just sold at auction for a cool $3.75 million dollars. At a collector car auction a rare 1971 Hemi Cuda convertible 4-speed was bid to $4.8 million dollars and was not enough to seal the deal! Pre auction estimates pegged the car's value at $6.5 million. Course like all of you reading this, I had neither tucked away at my house!

This annual event is held at Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun, Maryland. There is no rain date. I have gone every year for the last 5 or 6 years. Always a good event. Plenty of room and plenty of cars. This event was not held in 2020 so a lot of pent up demand for the return. I will be donating items for this event and I will be there as a vendor. I don;t bring many items but I do a lot of buying. So if you plan to attend, see me if you bring items to sell.

We discovered that FedEx will not forward any packages that are sent to the old PO Box or to our old address in Plumsteadville. Instead they deliver the packages to the old address and leave them outside or send them back to the shipper. They refuse to forward and say that we should notify the shipper. In most cases, we have no idea when we are getting packages shipped back to us.

Here is the information on our credits for cores.
STEERING WHEEL CORES. Currently we need good 1986-1987 Turbo Regal steering cores. They must be straight and not have rusted spokes. We will issue a Letter of Credit of $100 for each acceptable core. You must email me [email protected] a photo first to make sure the steering wheel is acceptable.
POWERMASTER BRAKE UNITS. Currently, we are accepting powermaster brake units. We give a $150 Letter of Credit for each acceptable core. If you include the turbo pedal, add $10. You would receive a $160 Letter of Credit. To avoid having your core not accepted, you MUST first email me a photo of the core you plan to send in - [email protected] - We will NOT accept any cores that have severe rust issues or have been disassembled. Core must have the brake switch and brake bowl reservoir. Too many of the cores we have been getting are in such terrible shape they are worthless to us.
TURBO CORES must be the 1986-1987 Turbo Regal stock turbo. They must be complete. We will issue you a $175 Letter of Credit for each acceptable core. We need cores now.
If you ship to us, the post office is the cheapest method. Pack the item(s) with a note with your name, address and phone number.

Good news - We now accept Classified Ads in our weekly Inner Circle emails. Over the years several customers have asked about placing an ad in our weekly Inner Circle.
Here are the options and the costs.
Ads can be from any individual or company. It needs to be automotive related, meaning it does not need to be specifically Turbo Regal related. It can be for something for sale or something wanted.
Maximum number of words is 125 words, which is about 7 to 9 lines of copy. No photos. You can list a website. We recommend you state your name, phone number or email, a price, and your location in your ad.
The cost for 2 consecutive weeks is $25. The cost for 4 consecutive weeks is $40. You save $10 with the 4-week plan. No changes can be made to your existing running ad. You can only run one ad at any given time. We will have a code system at the end of your ad, so we will know what week number your ad is to run - 2 or 4 weeks.
It can be an ad for something for sale or an ad for something you are looking for.
We have never missed a single week since we started the Inner Circle email format in 2009. It’s something I enjoy doing and I just always seem to have enough material to write about.
Our weekly Inner Circle reaches over 3,500 members every Wednesday direct to their inbox. The Inner Circle also appears every Wednesday on our website with the related photos. Your ad would be visible to both groups of readers. So, the exposure to your ad is well over 3,400 potential buyers.

1984-1987 G-Body with Factory T-Tops (Including Buick Turbo Regal with T-Tops Option) -
DUAL GAUGE HOLDER FOR T-TOPS MODELS
This dual gauge holder replaces the factory front center T-trim panel on the factory T-Tops.
The same 4 screws that hold the factory T-trim panel in place is used to secure this dual gauge holder. This plastic panel is already pre-painted grey to match the interiors of the Grand Nationals.
Holder fits all 1984 thru 1987 G-Body applications with the factory T-Tops option.

This version of front springs is based on what the 1987 Turbo Regals used originally. The earlier model Turbo Regals sat lower in the front.

We have heard from a couple people that have viewed the photos on the website. Because these must be low-resolution photos to work on the Inner Circle segments on the website, any photos of text don't appear clear when enlarged. This is a problem when you are trying to see numbers, such as those on the VIN labels or pages from Options booklet. Also, because of photo reproduction and computer screen variations, the colors may not be true to the actual product or photo.
