This cam sensor cap with LED indicator was introduced by Casper's Electronics at the 25th Annual GS Nationals.
This clever, completely new cam sensor cap is designed so you now have an accurate method to set the required 25 degree ATDC cam sensor signal.
This is critical to have a top performing Turbo Regal or Turbo Trans Am. It will eliminate the guess work. The LED bulb simply light up when it is properly set.
Also, because the cap has slotted mounts, you can "tweak" it for various aftermarket cam shafts. No need to index the crank shaft away from the timing mark.
The cam sensor cap is made of reinforced glass filled high-temperature thermoplastic for high-heat conditions. This product replaces the stock plastic cam sensor cap. You can leave it installed on the cam sensor. It carries a manufacturer's lifetime warranty.
