TWO UNUSUAL GRAND NATIONAL ITEMS FOR SALE -

In this stash of parts we bought the other week was a pair of very nice 1986-1987 Grand National bucket seats. No rips, no tears, no stains. Rarer still is a set of 4 absolutely flawless brand new never mounted 1986-1987 Grand National steel chrome wheels. With them we also include four brand new in the factory GM boxes center caps. Both items have had great storage inside for about 20 years.

PHOTO 1 - We show one photo of the pair of front Grand National bucket seats The other 3 photos show various views of the 4 brand new Grand National chrome wheels and the center caps in the small original GM brown boxes in one photo. If you are a subscriber these items can be found under the Rare Parts section for sale along with another large array of NOS GM parts from this same seller. .

GNX FOR SALE -

We are now representing another GNX for sale. Local to me with an amazing amount of documentation with a number of items that have been personally signed by Molly including the original Molly GNX jacket. Car has had the same owner since 1998. Only one previous owner to the current owner. Car has 23,800 actual miles on it. Has all original paint. Driven fewer than 2,000 miles since 1998. Car has been to several of our Open House events. We may be partnering up with a major player who has a lot of followers on Facebook and Instagram to get a good price for this GNX owner as he is getting out of the Turbo Regal market. It was his Turbo-T Limited that I sold by making one simple phone call and getting the price he was seeking. Currently we don’t have a price worked out until we come to an agreement. Interestingly enough I had sold this owner a really nice 1987 Grand National several years ago.

PHOTO 2 - We show a few views of this outstanding example of a GNX and just a small representation of the load of paperwork this owner has gotten with this car. Also probably the only personally signed Molly jacket by Molly himself! This GNX comes with a huge assortment of signed Molly items. I doubt any GNX owner has anywhere near the amount of signed Molly items as this GNX comes with.

BMW X3 SUV 2008 MODEL FOR SALE -

This extremely nice all original BMW X3 we purchased last week for this midwest dealer. His money and my sharp eyes work as the perfect combination. Woman owned and garage kept. Same owner for the last 6 years. All the major service records. PA inspected into next year. All the manuals included. The spare and jack have never been out of the SUV. Garaged all the time. AC blows super cold. The owner tested the temp with a gauge showing temps drop to 36 degrees which is colder than most other cars! Car is quite unique as it has over 20 additional options besides the normal options/features. Including heated front and rear seats. Heated steering wheel. Pop up screen Navigation. The top of the line leather option called Tobacco Nevada Leather.

The sticker price in 2008 was $46,500. Car had no open recalls, and the latest PA inspection. The wheels have no curb rash even the backs of the wheels are fairly clean. Last owner bought it in 2011 with 47,000 miles on it. Car now has 99,900 actual miles. . The X3 has Xenon headlights, dark ash wood trim, and Panoramic moonroof just to name a few upgrades. Body and paint are excellent except for minor burn spots on the back bumper caused by the exhaust. Drives 100% with fairly new tires on all 4 corners.

Car is at our house but eventually will be shipped to the midwest unless a buyer buys it locally. The price is $9895.00. You would be hard pressed to find a better example. This is “Kirban Quality” inside and out. Partial trades considered. This car is sale pending.

NEXT UP 1999 MERCEDES BENZ SLK 230 ROADSTER FOR SALE -

This little hardtop convertible coupe is the popular color combo silver exterior with a black leather interior. Non smoke garaged. Owner drove it less than 2,000 miles since purchasing it 2 years ago. Because of Covid the car got very little use. The electric top folds up perfectly to go in the trunk and back up all done with a single switch. An engineering marvel. Body and paint are super nice with very minimal scratches. Tires are like new. Wheels have no curb rash and are very nice. PA inspected into next Spring. The inflatable spare has never been used in the trunk. The radio is an aftermarket, but is a very clean install. This model is the supercharged motor (Kompressor). Miles are 88,700. The price is $10,995. Partial trades considered. This car also is at our location. Eventually this car would also be shipped to the midwest unless a local buyer buys it.

PHOTO 4 - We show 4 views of this 1999 Mercedes Benz SLK 230. For more info and photos email me direct [email protected]

1987 GRAND NATIONAL WITH 8,700 ACTUAL MILES AND RARE ASTROROOF FOR SALE -

We just got in this extremely low mileage and well optioned 1987 Grand National. This car is at our location. Car is very well optioned. The rare factory astroroof, power driver's seat, twilight sentinel, tilt, cruise, delay wipers, concert sound, power antenna, aluminum rear drums, am/fm eq radio, digital dash, power windows, rear defogger, power door locks, limited slip rear, headlamps on indicator, lighted visor mirror, and rear defogger. Reproduction window sticker copies. The built sheet copy. Car was originally sold in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Spare and jack appear to have never been used. Because this is such a low mileage example car it was kept as original as possible. For example the only interior replacements needed was the headliner, new floor mats, redone steering wheel and horn ring. Also just the center grey portion of the driver seat and both front door cards using original pallex date coded material. All the rest of the interior is original. The exterior got a new high quality repaint. The body was stripped to bare metal.

The wheels are still all original and absolutely perfect. If I had GM boxes they could be boxed and sold as brand new! The exhaust is the Pypes system we sell. Other improvements include upgraded TA 49 Turbo, upgraded injectors, fuel feeder kit, high volume fuel pump and the radiator was re-cored. NOS hood pad, new fluid bottles AC was upgraded with a new evaporator can. Vacuum lines were replaced. A brand new battery was installed as well.

The underside of the car is extremely nice. The car got all new front brakes, all new correct rubber body bushings including the GNX ones.

For more information and photos email me directly [email protected] Keep in mind partial trades are considered and JJ Best can finance this car up to 90% if you have the proper credit. The asking price is $47,900. Car was appraised for $56 grand. Keep in mind we just sold two other high dollar Grand Nationals with a few more miles on them than this one has. Ironically, I sold one with T-Tops, then one with a solid roof, and now one with the astroroof option, all 1987 examples and all with a price tag north of $35 grand!

Remember if you are thinking about selling your 1986-1987 Turbo Regal we can market the car for you and eliminate a lot of the stress related to selling these cars. I do not need the car to be in my possession, but it helps. The car would be kept in doors and secured on a lift.

STILL AVAILABLE A FULL SET OF REAL ORIGINAL GNX WHEELS LIKE NEW -

I am representing this set of real GNX wheels for one of my long-time customers who bought at least one car from me over the years. He resides in the New England area. The price includes all 4 center caps. No lug nuts. The price is $5895 and includes free shipping to the basic 48 states. The wheels have no scratches, and no road rash. Like new in every regard. They are the correct ones with different offset front and rears. For more info or pictures email me direct [email protected]

THE STORY BEHIND THE NOS STASH WE BEEN SELLING -

Last Fall actually on Halloween one of my customers in the midwest passed away. He was just 53 years old. He is survived by two older brothers. He still lived in his parents home and actually worked at Delco Remy. The house he lived in is over 120 years old. Their father worked for many years at Studebaker and now is in a nursing home. The brother that contacted me has the same name as me Dennis. He first contacted me in late March. When they were going through the old house he discovered this huge stash of Buick parts that completely filled one of the bedrooms. Upon examining the various labels on the boxes they discovered my company and contacted me first. The boxes were dated mostly 2002 and 2003 from our company. At some point they already had sold his brother's real nice low mileage Grand National to the local funeral director that actually buried their brother!

The brother Dennis that called me of course had no idea what the parts were or the value. Over a period of a few weeks he opened every box to make sure the part was a new part and researched every single part number and sent me a detailed written list and some photos. Over 9 pages of handwritten part numbers is an enormous task. He then researched what he thought the retail value was on each part going to various websites of Buick vendors and ebay.

Naturally those numbers came in quite high compared to what a vendor in the business would pay. I had a good customer of mine help determine the value of each item and what I could sell it for. The load of parts could not easily be sent by UPS or truck, since it included items that could not easily be packed such as seats etc. Covid added to the problems of personal travel. Originally I was offering to pay him to make the trip but his doctor said due to possible blood clots it would not be a good idea to make a 700 mile journey. I was going to pay him and his brother to deliver the parts so that way I could visually inspect each item prior to paying him.

After I made my final pitch on a price figuring what it would cost to hire someone to make the trip, I rented a U-Haul one way I made my offer. The gamble here was the person I was sending had no idea if everything was as described and if he would get everything. He also had no idea what the parts were. I just said make sure you're not loading empty GM boxes! On the other hand the seller Dennis agreed to take my company's check. So trust was a key feature for both me and the seller. He, to make sure I made a fair offer, contacted another Buick vendor to see what they would offer. That vendor did not return his emails for several weeks until the very day my guy was there picking up the entire load.

Course for that vendor was too late. Dennis was happy with the end result and the fact we stayed in contact during all the emails back and forth to make the deal happen. It's hard to believe that one person with an extremely nice original Grand National would have stashed this many GM parts. He never married and still lived with his parents. Ironically Dennis owns a 1946 M5 Studebaker pickup truck which is identical to the 1947 M5 Studebaker pickup truck that I restored over 40 years ago. It's a small world where we share the same first name and the same truck! I told him when he is ready to sell the 1946 Studebaker truck I may be a buyer!

So you can see from this story buying a load of NOS parts can be a drawn out process and not something that can be done quickly. Watch for more from this stash next week!

MORE RARE NOS TURBO REGAL PARTS FOR SALE -

In the Rare Parts section, all emails concerning your parts request are answered in order they are received.. The quicker to submit your request the better chance you have of obtaining the part or parts. I do not play favorites. It is kind of like Jeopardy except for those contestants they have to hit a buzzer to be first with a reply. The reason I may not get back to you right away is I am not near my computer! Again all emails are taken in the order I receive them. The inner circle always goes out at 3 pm eastern time every Wednesday!

This issue has another huge selection of NOS GM parts I obtained from the midwest.

TWO WELL KNOWN LOCAL CRUISE EVENTS NEAR MY LOCATION IN JULY 2021 -

Next up on July Saturday July 31st 2021, is the annual Hatboro Moonlight Memories car show. This is the 28th year of this event. Hatboro is near where we used to live so I get to see a lot of old friends at this annual event. I was a judge for a few of these events. This show usually has several Turbo Regals and one or two GNXs in the mix. This event is huge. The event has no rain date. I guess they have a direct connection to God?

CAR SHOW DATES FOR 2021 SEASON -

EAST COAST BUICK REGIONALS
Saturday September 11th 2021

This annual event is held at Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun, Maryland. There is no rain date. I have gone every year for the last 5 or 6 years. Always a good event. Plenty of room and plenty of cars. This event was not held in 2020 so a lot of pent up demand for the return. I will be donating items for this event and I will be there as a vendor. I don’t bring many items but I do a lot of buying. So if you plan to attend, see me if you bring items to sell. Our plan is to hand out 3 special custom awards for the 3 cars that impress me the most. More details later.

IMPORTANT - INFORMATION ABOUT OUR SHIPPING ADDRESS –

If you are returning any cores or products, it is important that you send them to the correct address.

KIRBAN PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS
529 HAYCOCK RUN ROAD

We discovered that FedEx will not forward any packages that are sent to the old PO Box or to our old address in Plumsteadville. Instead they deliver the packages to the old address and leave them outside or send them back to the shipper. They refuse to forward and say that we should notify the shipper. In most cases, we have no idea when we are getting packages shipped back to us.

If you have any cores that are being sent back to us, be sure to use the correct address, especially if you use FedEx. Otherwise, we may not receive your package or it may be sent back to you.

NOTE - ABOUT LINKS IN THE INNER CIRCLE -

We have heard from a couple people that have had problems with the links in our Inner Circle.

When we check the links, they work fine. However, if you are not able to be directed to the exact website page or internet site, you can "copy" and "paste" the link into the URL in your browser (such as Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, etc.) If it doesn't link in one browser, it may work in another.

Most people having problems are using Internet Explorer. If you are having issues with links, try another browser to see if it works.

You may need to "UPDATE" your browser to be used if you are using the current version.

NOTE ABOUT PHOTOS ON THE WEBSITE -

We have heard from a couple people that have viewed the photos on the website. Because these must be low-resolution photos to work on the Inner Circle segments on the website, any photos of text don't appear clear when enlarged. This is a problem when you are trying to see numbers, such as those on the VIN labels or pages from Options booklet. Also, because of photo reproduction and computer screen variations, the colors may not be true to the actual product or photo.

If you would like to have us email you any photo at the higher resolution for viewing, just email us and we will email them to you. Be sure to be specific on which pictures you want to see - Reference Inner Circle date and photo number 1, 2, 3 or 4 - [email protected]

ABOUT OUR EMAILS -

Any inquiries concerning used parts, you must email me directly - [email protected] - and I will answer you. However, if I fail to answer you within 24 hours, please email us again.
Since expanding into used parts, I get a lot of emails and sometimes I may forget your request or may not remember who requested the item.

IN CLOSING -

Remember the weekly Inner Circle always goes out at 3 pm eastern time so subscribers all have the same equal chance on the Rare Parts. All our parts generally are priced to sell and below what others offer. Also our used items are exactly as described. Emails are acknowledged in the order we receive them regardless of when I respond as I am not always by a computer and I only use a flip phone.
