1986-1987 TURBO REGAL GM HOOD PADS -
We recently ordered 2 of these GM hood pads and have them in stock for pick up only. These are blank with no imprint. These are the 8 hole versions. Otherwise look identical to the factory 1986-1987 hodo pads even with the impression where the word “Turbocharged” would go. It took 3 weeks to get the 2 we have. We have more on order. A FEW REMAINING NOS GM PARTS -
In our collection of parts I have a real nice like new 1984-1987 dash bezel, all original except for 2 of the appliques which are reproductions. Also 3 AC Delco parts.
PHOTO 2 - We show brand new AC Delco turn signal switch, AC Delco IAC switch, and AC Delco switch. I think this last switch relates to the brake pedal under the dash. We also show this almost new dash bezel. All these items can be found under the Rare Parts section.
PROTO-TYPE TURBO CHARGED PONTIAC GRAND PRIX 1988 -
This car is seldom seen today is the 1989-1990 Turbocharged Pontiac Grand Prix based on the W body format. Limited to a few thousand and only available in two colors. The turbo option from what I read added almost 5 grand to the total price tag in 1989 and 1990. The two available exterior colors were red or black. A sharp looking car. The car’s high price tag and low production numbers didn’t translate into instant collectibility. However, I was supposed to tell you that the actual prototype of this unique turbocharged Grand Prix exists in private hands about 30 minutes from my house! Better yet it is for sale! Originally the production models cranked out about 210 hp. This prototype pumps out 300 plus horsepower with twin intercoolers on it! The transmission is modified as well. Better yet the seller has all the documentation to back up the history. Completely streetable. Even the AC works. I know I rode in this one of a kind car last weekend. The owner wants to sell it as he wants to expand his business. Car is in remarkable shape. Ideally you can keep it as a prototype or make it into a super cool sleeper by installing the factory exhaust and with an over 300 hp car can be a lot of fun! According to my seller, ASC and Pontiac made 2 prototypes. The other one resides in the GM museum. This one was given to Peterson Racing in 1989 to participate in the 1990 Pikes Peak Hill Climb. It placed 4th against awd competition. A crowning achievement! I have a link to the video to prove this.
The seats are the most comfortable seats for that time period. All kinds of adjustments that I wish the Turbo Regals had. This prototype hand built example is gold with a matching brown interior. It does have the trunk SPID label and VIN decals on the body panels but lacks the metal VIN dash tag. Registered as an antique. Completely streetable. The transmission is modified and shifts are extremely crisp. Car completed in one of the Pike Peak runs and sat for several years in a museum before being purchased by the seller about 5 years ago.
We show 8 different photos of this one of a kind turbocharged Grand Prix. Be a cool car to display next to a Turbo Regal. Same basic time frame and use the same format to make power Garret turbo coupled to an intercooler. Originally this was equipped to spray cool water on the dual intercoolers!

YOU LEARN SOMETHING NEW EVERYDAY UPDATE -
Regarding the Buick portholes. I heard from Larry out of California who owns one of our Grand Nationals. Larry says originally the portholes had no connection to the size of the engine as they had the same size engine. The Special and Super had 3 portholes and the Century and Roadmaster had 4 portholes. In 1954 Buick had the V-8 nailhead and the straight 8 engine was gone. Around 1950 the port holes were moved to the hood and became rectangles, but later moved back to the fenders.

ONE MAIL ORDER COMPANY THAT HAS A UNIQUE APPROACH -
One line of products I like for detailing and have used for many years is from a company in California called Surf City Garage. Years ago I called the company and actually talked to the owner's wife as I wanted one of their store displays for my office as it features a 1969 GTO on it. I offered to buy it. Problem is Pep Boys is shutting down a lot of their retail stores and going with just doing tires and installs etc.

GOOD NEWS REBUILT 1986-1987 TURBO REGAL REBUILT POWER STEERING PUMPS -
We still have about 6 left from this initial shipment from Cardone. We were just informed that Cardone had just over a dozen 1986-1987 Turbo Regal power steering pumps in their system. We purchased the entire stock so they are in the process of rebuilding them for us. These carry a one year warranty. This power steering pump is unique to the 1986-1987 Turbo Regals. I also believe it's the same used in the limited production 1989 TurboTrans Ams. Nobody has reproduced this part yet that I am aware of.

Our part number #7768 the AC Delco AC accumulator evaporator receiver drier is in stock. We are, I believe, the only company that gets them powder coated as they come from ACDelco bare aluminum which in the Turbo Regals is not correct. Ours cost a bit more but the appearance is closer to the original which is critical as this part is very visible under the hood. We currently have several in stock.

TWO WELL KNOWN LOCAL CRUISE EVENTS NEAR MY LOCATION IN JULY 2021 -
First up is the Doylestown At Dusk Car Show. The date is Saturday July 17th 5 pm until 10 pm. Rain date is Sunday July 18th 2021. This event draws some impressive variety of cars, even several Ferraris. They close down several main streets in Doylestown. I go as a spectator every year.
Next up on July Saturday July 31st 2021, is the annual Hatboro Moonlight Memories car show. This is the 28th year of this event. Hatboro is near where we used to live so I get to see a lot of old friends at this annual event. I was a judge for a few of these events. This show usually has several Turbo Regals and one or two GNXs in the mix. This event is huge. The event has no rain date. I guess they have a direct connection to God? Devyn is planning to attend at least one of these Cruise events.
COLLECTOR CAR COLLECTION UPDATE - THREE TURBO REGALS AND ONE SYCLONE
All 4 are still available. The 1986 blue T-Type and the 1987 Grand National he purchased were brand new. He is the 3rd owner of the white 1987 Turbo-T. The Syclone he also purchased was brand new. These vehicles are located in Tennessee. The light blue 1986 T-Type is $25,000 OBO. The 1987 Grand National has the rare factory astro roof and has been repainted Corvette red. CAR SHOW DATES FOR 2021 SEASON -
EAST COAST BUICK REGIONALS
Saturday September 11th 2021
This annual event is held at Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun, Maryland. There is no rain date. I have gone every year for the last 5 or 6 years. Always a good event. Plenty of room and plenty of cars. This event was not held in 2020 so a lot of pent up demand for the return. I will be donating items for this event and I will be there as a vendor. I don’t bring many items but I do a lot of buying. So if you plan to attend, see me if you bring items to sell. Our plan is to hand out 3 special custom awards for the 3 cars that impress me the most. More details later.
We will not have many items for sale at this event but instead be focused on accepting turbo cores, powermaster cores, and 1986-1987 original AC Delco mass air flow sensor cores. Course we are always on the lookout for NOS parts. Will have several blank checks with me!

We discovered that FedEx will not forward any packages that are sent to the old PO Box or to our old address in Plumsteadville. Instead they deliver the packages to the old address and leave them outside or send them back to the shipper. They refuse to forward and say that we should notify the shipper. In most cases, we have no idea when we are getting packages shipped back to us.
If you have any cores that are being sent back to us, be sure to use the correct address, especially if you use FedEx. Otherwise, we may not receive your package or it may be sent back to you.

CORES NEEDED - URGENT REQUEST –
Here is the information on our credits for cores.
STEERING WHEEL CORES. Currently we need good 1986-1987 Turbo Regal steering cores. They must be straight and not have rusted spokes. We will issue a Letter of Credit of $100 for each acceptable core. You must email me [email protected] a photo first to make sure the steering wheel is acceptable.
POWERMASTER BRAKE UNITS. Currently, we are accepting powermaster brake units. We give a $150 Letter of Credit for each acceptable core. If you include the turbo pedal, add $10. You would receive a $160 Letter of Credit. To avoid having your core not accepted, you MUST first email me a photo of the core you plan to send in - [email protected] - We will NOT accept any cores that have severe rust issues or have been disassembled. Core must have the brake switch and brake bowl reservoir. Too many of the cores we have been getting are in such terrible shape they are worthless to us.
TURBO CORES must be the 1986-1987 Turbo Regal stock turbo. They must be complete. We will issue you a $175 Letter of Credit for each acceptable core. We need cores now.
MASS AIR FLOW SENSORS must be the 1986-1987 Turbo Regal sensors. They can not be cracked or broken. Each acceptable unit is worth a letter of credit of $40 each. We need cores now!

Maximum number of words is 125 words, which is about 7 to 9 lines of copy. No photos. You can list a website. We recommend you state your name, phone number or email, a price, and your location in your ad.
The cost for 2 consecutive weeks is $25. The cost for 4 consecutive weeks is $40. You save $10 with the 4-week plan. No changes can be made to your existing running ad. You can only run one ad at any given time. We will have a code system at the end of your ad, so we will know what week number your ad is to run 2 or 4 weeks.
It can be an ad for something for sale or an ad for something you are looking for.
We have never missed a single week since we started the Inner Circle email format in 2009. It’s something I enjoy doing and I just always seem to have enough material to write about.

YOU LEARN SOMETHING NEW EVERYDAY UPDATE -
Regarding the Buick portholes. I heard from Larry out of California who owns one of our Grand Nationals. Larry says originally the portholes had no connection to the size of the engine as they had the same size engine. The Special and Super had 3 portholes and the Century and Roadmaster had 4 portholes. In 1954 Buick had the V-8 nailhead and the straight 8 engine was gone. Around 1950 the port holes were moved to the hood and became rectangles, but later moved back to the fenders.

ONE MAIL ORDER COMPANY THAT HAS A UNIQUE APPROACH -
One line of products I like for detailing and have used for many years is from a company in California called Surf City Garage. Years ago I called the company and actually talked to the owner's wife as I wanted one of their store displays for my office as it features a 1969 GTO on it. I offered to buy it. She sent it to me for free! I never forgot that nice gesture. Their product line is only carried locally near me by Pep Boys. Problem is Pep Boys is shutting down a lot of their retail stores and going with just doing tires and installs etc.

GOOD NEWS REBUILT 1986-1987 TURBO REGAL REBUILT POWER STEERING PUMPS -
We still have about 6 left from this initial shipment from Cardone. We were just informed that Cardone had just over a dozen 1986-1987 Turbo Regal power steering pumps in their system. We purchased the entire stock so they are in the process of rebuilding them for us. These carry a one year warranty. This power steering pump is unique to the 1986-1987 Turbo Regals. I also believe it's the same used in the limited production 1989 TurboTrans Ams. Nobody has reproduced this part yet that I am aware of.

Our part number #7768 the AC Delco AC accumulator evaporator receiver drier is in stock. We are, I believe, the only company that gets them powder coated as they come from ACDelco bare aluminum which in the Turbo Regals is not correct. Ours cost a bit more but the appearance is closer to the original which is critical as this part is very visible under the hood. We currently have several in stock.

TWO WELL KNOWN LOCAL CRUISE EVENTS NEAR MY LOCATION IN JULY 2021 -
First up is the Doylestown At Dusk Car Show. The date is Saturday July 17th 5 pm until 10 pm. Rain date is Sunday July 18th 2021. This event draws some impressive variety of cars, even several Ferraris. They close down several main streets in Doylestown. I go as a spectator every year.
Next up on July Saturday July 31st 2021, is the annual Hatboro Moonlight Memories car show. This is the 28th year of this event. Hatboro is near where we used to live so I get to see a lot of old friends at this annual event. I was a judge for a few of these events. This show usually has several Turbo Regals and one or two GNXs in the mix. This event is huge. The event has no rain date. I guess they have a direct connection to God? Devyn is planning to attend at least one of these Cruise events.
COLLECTOR CAR COLLECTION UPDATE - THREE TURBO REGALS AND ONE SYCLONE
All 4 are still available. The 1986 blue T-Type and the 1987 Grand National he purchased were brand new. He is the 3rd owner of the white 1987 Turbo-T. The Syclone he also purchased was brand new. These vehicles are located in Tennessee. The light blue 1986 T-Type is $25,000 OBO. The 1987 Grand National has the rare factory astro roof and has been repainted Corvette red. EAST COAST BUICK REGIONALS
Saturday September 11th 2021
This annual event is held at Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun, Maryland. There is no rain date. I have gone every year for the last 5 or 6 years. Always a good event. Plenty of room and plenty of cars. This event was not held in 2020 so a lot of pent up demand for the return. I will be donating items for this event and I will be there as a vendor. I don’t bring many items but I do a lot of buying. So if you plan to attend, see me if you bring items to sell. Our plan is to hand out 3 special custom awards for the 3 cars that impress me the most. More details later.
We will not have many items for sale at this event but instead be focused on accepting turbo cores, powermaster cores, and 1986-1987 original AC Delco mass air flow sensor cores. Course we are always on the lookout for NOS parts. Will have several blank checks with me!

We discovered that FedEx will not forward any packages that are sent to the old PO Box or to our old address in Plumsteadville. Instead they deliver the packages to the old address and leave them outside or send them back to the shipper. They refuse to forward and say that we should notify the shipper. In most cases, we have no idea when we are getting packages shipped back to us.
If you have any cores that are being sent back to us, be sure to use the correct address, especially if you use FedEx. Otherwise, we may not receive your package or it may be sent back to you.

CORES NEEDED - URGENT REQUEST –
Here is the information on our credits for cores.
STEERING WHEEL CORES. Currently we need good 1986-1987 Turbo Regal steering cores. They must be straight and not have rusted spokes. We will issue a Letter of Credit of $100 for each acceptable core. You must email me [email protected] a photo first to make sure the steering wheel is acceptable.
POWERMASTER BRAKE UNITS. Currently, we are accepting powermaster brake units. We give a $150 Letter of Credit for each acceptable core. If you include the turbo pedal, add $10. You would receive a $160 Letter of Credit. To avoid having your core not accepted, you MUST first email me a photo of the core you plan to send in - [email protected] - We will NOT accept any cores that have severe rust issues or have been disassembled. Core must have the brake switch and brake bowl reservoir. Too many of the cores we have been getting are in such terrible shape they are worthless to us.
TURBO CORES must be the 1986-1987 Turbo Regal stock turbo. They must be complete. We will issue you a $175 Letter of Credit for each acceptable core. We need cores now.
MASS AIR FLOW SENSORS must be the 1986-1987 Turbo Regal sensors. They can not be cracked or broken. Each acceptable unit is worth a letter of credit of $40 each. We need cores now!
If you ship to us, the post office is the cheapest method. Pack the item(s) with a note with your name, address and phone number.

Here are the options and the costs.
Ads can be from any individual or company. It needs to be automotive related, meaning it does not need to be specifically Turbo Regal related. It can be for something for sale or something wanted.
Maximum number of words is 125 words, which is about 7 to 9 lines of copy. No photos. You can list a website. We recommend you state your name, phone number or email, a price, and your location in your ad.
The cost for 2 consecutive weeks is $25. The cost for 4 consecutive weeks is $40. You save $10 with the 4-week plan. No changes can be made to your existing running ad. You can only run one ad at any given time. We will have a code system at the end of your ad, so we will know what week number your ad is to run 2 or 4 weeks.
It can be an ad for something for sale or an ad for something you are looking for.
We have never missed a single week since we started the Inner Circle email format in 2009. It’s something I enjoy doing and I just always seem to have enough material to write about.
Our weekly Inner Circle reaches over 3,500 members every Wednesday direct to their inbox. The Inner Circle also appears every Wednesday on our website with the related photos. Your ad would be visible to both groups of readers. So, the exposure to your ad is well over 3,400 potential buyers.

Also, because of photo reproduction and computer screen variations, the colors may not be true to the actual product or photo.
