11-16-2022 Inner Circle

Greetings Turbo Regal Inner Circle Members 11-16-2022 - KIRBAN PERFORMANCE BLACK FRIDAY SALE - Kirban Performance will offer free shipping on any orders over $200 to the 48 states. An exception is any large item that requires truck shipping is not included. Black Friday sale ends November 26th Friday night 12 midnite. Enjoy your Thanksgiving feast and football. As I write this I am not sure if the website can process the order properly and not charge for shipping. However, if shipping is charged it will be promptly credited back to your account. Because of the timing of the release of our new Turbo Regal banner we are introducing, the price is $44.95 including shipping that price is fixed. This is because there are currently 3 companies selling it initially. Kirban Performance, Kirban Enterprises, and the actual artist that did the artwork Danny Whitfield. All 3 companies have it priced the same at $44.95 which includes shipping. I am filling ALL the orders for all 3 companies from my Pennsylvania location. One reason is because these new 13 ounce vinyl banners are made locally for my company Kirban Enterprises. Also I am personally autographing each one regardless of where you purchase it. I have an unbeatable price structure with this company that does our banners.! I know the owner personally. PRICE CHANGE REGARDING THE POLISHED STAINLESS 1986-1987 TURBO REGAL TURBO SHIELD - The part number for this newly released polished stainless turbo shield is #8047. The price is actually $299.00. This new polished stainless turbo shield is Made in the USA! It will come with polished hardware included. This is a super price for a custom quality part that is one of the most visible parts under the hood of any 1986-1987 Turbo Regal. Plus at $299 it already hits the minimum for free shipping for the Black Friday sale which ends Friday November 25th 12 midnite. These are in stock for immediate delivery! An impressive looking cover. NEW 1987 TURBO REGAL 13 OUNCE VINYL BANNER NOW AVAILABLE - As a member of our weekly Inner Circle you know that for months I have been seeking out an artist that can accurately draw in detail and in color automobiles. I had at least 3 or 4 artists submit samples and none of which met my requirements. My idea is to have various artwork done featuring three different years or models all angled the same way. Each will have a unique tag line under the artwork. Initially each will be offered on a 1 ft by 3 ft 13 ounce stitched banner with four metal eyelets in each corner. The layout or format lends itself to this unusual banner size. Easy to take to a car show and display in a trunk. I have already approved the finished product and the first run is now getting done as I write this week's inner circle. Orders will be filled at the beginning of next week. You can order from the Kirban Performance website #8038. Go to kirbanperformance.com Again I will be shipping them for Kirban Performance from my Pennsylvania location. So there will be NO delays from any of these companies. The price including shipping no matter where you buy it is just $44.95. To order from Kirban Enterprises, simply email me [email protected] However, keep in mind I only accept paypal. The artist Danny Whitfield has some impressive credentials having done work in the past for GM-Ford-Chrysler- Corvette Museum, Revelle and Monogram model companies as well. He has done some of the artwork for the models. The quickest way to go to his site is click on the link below https://www.dannywhitfield.com/buick_kirban_members.html Once you do under the word code type in DSK449. Another option is click on the link below to go directly to see the new Turbo Regal banner he did for us. Buick Grand National |1985 | Art Prints by Danny Whitfield You can purchase it directly from him if you want. Again the banner will be signed by me and shipped by me with the Bad to the Bone decal all at the same price of just $44.95. Keep in mind in the photo it will not show up as signed by me as it is just showing actual artwork. Same for the photo in this Inner Circle and on Kirban Performance website. One you order will be signed by me! Among Danny Whitfields vast automotive artwork and custom work he can do for you will see the artwork he did of the Three Turbo Regals. He was amazed at how sharp I was on getting the details of the 3 Turbo Regals. You can order directly from him as the price structure is the same as ours. Just $44.95 shipped to the basic 48 states. I drop Danny's orders as well from my location. Keep in mind this is an artist rendition of the 3 cars. The artwork features the three most popular/valuable 1987 Turbo Regals with the tagline under the three cars “Buick’s Triple Black Threat WE4 - GRAND NATIONAL - GNX '' As a bonus no matter which company you order it from you will also get a Bad to the Bone decal. Plus I will personally autograph every banner below the artist printed signature and my copyright Kirban Enterprises 2022. Again you have a choice currently of 3 companies to order from. Again it makes no difference what company you buy the banner from as I drop ship for each of them and each will be autographed personally by me! One reason is the company making the banners is local to me. It makes no sense for companies to pay to ship to them and then they ship to the end buyer. It is easier for me to ship directly to the customers and save that wasted step and cost. I worked a deal with the artist Danny Whitfield who did a remarkable job and within 3 weeks from start to finish he had this artwork of the 3 Turbo Regals done. The other consideration was finding an artist that works full time and could complete the project in a reasonable time frame. Next week he plans to start on the next project for me which will feature the 1964 GTO post coupe, 1965 GTO hardtop and the 1966 GTO convertible again with a unique tag line under the print. It will also have the same retail price structure. I am quite confident all the major GTO vendors will add it to their product line. I have a long time relationship with all the big Pontiac players. Our plan is to reach out to other collector automotive suppliers that deal in other car markets and see if they are interested in getting artwork done featuring their three most popular models. The edge we have is a great price structure I get on the actual 13 ounce vinyl banners without a huge commitment. Plus I would do their drop shipping. The artwork is nothing short of amazing, a real eye catcher with a cool looking racing flag light gray background instead of a plain bare white background. The way Danny highlighted each car really makes them stand out on the banner. We made every effort to make each Turbo Regal model as accurate as possible. You have to keep in mind this is an artist rendition. The images are hard to describe as the photo below does not do it justice, you gotta see it in person. We have priced it very reasonably. None of this could be done without the help of Nancy Pasco for the Grand National, and Anthony Colucci for photos he provided me of his original WE4. Be surprised how many things that we had to change because of minor mistakes. I had forgotten for example the WE4 never got a rear spoiler from the factory. Initially I also forgot to have the bump on the passenger fender to indicate the bezel for the power antenna! Having done a project over 30 years ago for the Danbury Mint on a 1965 GTO I know how time consuming it can be. Back then I had to go to their studio several times a week and check the progress. The Danbury mint did let one mistake slide through which I am grateful for as it was on my personal 1964 GTO that they used to shoot the undercarriage for the diecast. My 1964 had a rear sway bar which Pontiac did not install until the 1970 GTO model. It was a non paying job except they did give me a few diecast models. A good experience though. My buddy whose car I recommended was extremely happy. You can imagine how that made the value of his GTO jump. HIs car was a multi trophy winner at the national level but this added to the value. Go on ebay to locate the Iris Mist 1965 GTO hardtop as that is the car! If you see the undercarriage, notice the rear sway bar! I had to persuade the Danbury mint to go with the actual color Iris Mist. His interior was white. They wanted to go with a burgundy exterior and a black interior. I said no way. I said my buddy would go for that deal. Besides, none of his friends would believe they used his car if they changed the exterior and interior on the diecast! Again I got a lot of ideas going forward with this same format now that I got a really good automotive artist on board. Besides having 3 different Turbo Regal models in the same artwork makes for a wider market to sell to. Being I own the artwork we will look at doing a few other things with it as well. The timing is perfect with the holidays fast approaching. PHOTO 1 - We show the artwork of this new 1987 Turbo Regal banner. This is the artwork, next week we will show an actual signed banner in the Inner Circle. Note: Also pictured is the Bad to the Bone multi color decal which you get as a bonus no matter which of the companies you buy it from. The Bad To The Bone decal measures approximately 5 ½ by 1 3/4 inches and it is for the outside. Remember each Turbo Regal banner no matter which company you order it from….will be autographed personally by me. Remember also no matter where you purchase this new Turbo Regal banner we dropship for the three suppliers from our eastern PA location. Currently 3 suppliers Kirban Performance - Kirban Enterprises - Danny Whitfield. All orders will be filled in a timely manner no matter where it is purchased. THE 31ST ANNUAL FALL ROLL OUT CAR SHOW RIEGELSVILLE CAR SHOW - This major car show is located near our house and is always the first Sunday in November. It attracts several hundred cars of all kinds weather permitting. I try to attend every year. This past event the weather was not very good but still attracted a good number of cars. I took some of those hand crafted street rod cars and sold about 6 of them. One car that caught my eye was a “sleeper” first time I ever saw in person a 1985 Regal coupe and under the hood was a 455 tri-power 4 speed GTO drivetrain. The Pontiac V8 engines all basically interchange 389-400-428-455 blocks from what I recall. Remarkably in talking to the owner who was into GTOs and the Regal body never heard of me! He kept the flat hood on the Regal. He had to cut some of the under hood bracing and change the base covers of the tri-power carbs. I told him the tri-power air cleaner lids were all made about 1 hour from here. My friend made them for many years until he retired. He said he got the manual shifter parts from a vendor that sold early 1982 El Camino parts. Most trouble he had was locating Pontiac exhaust manifolds to clear the frame etc. He finally found a set of Firebird ones that cleared. Originally he ran 3.73 gears but switched to 3.07 to get better gas mileage as he uses the car for work. Tri-power is a good gas saver as long as you don’t drive it hard you are only using the center 2 barrel carburetor. They used progressive linkage. Also trips look cool under the hood. Also at this show was an original appearing in the early 1950s? Chevy cab over Chevy truck. It was fitted with a pick up bed. What caught my eye was under the hood. I guess due to space issues I spotted a hydroboost brake system. What looked different was it was actually mounted on the firewall sideways! That caught my attention as I could not believe it actually worked. You can’t beat the ingenious workmanship some street rod builders come up with. That untouched patina look has gained popularity in recent years. PHOTO 2 - The top left and top right photo shows the 1985 Regal fitted with a 455 Pontiac V8 with trips. The bottom left and right photo shows this cabover early 1950s Chevy truck with the sideways mounted hydroboost system. MINI BOOKLET #8031 1986-1987 TURBO REGAL DEALER SERVICE BULLETINS PRODUCT CAMPAIGNS AND PRODUCT INFORMATION - This is just one of the booklets we recently did. In this particular booklet are copies of a letter from GM giving the breakdown for the US 1983 thru 1987 Turbo Ts and Grand Nationals. The actual count per year. Also a copy of the GM letter from Canada showing the breakdown of Turbo Regals that went to Canada 1984 through 1987. Of particular note it clearly states no GNXs were sold originally in Canada. US only! In 1984 exactly 100 Grand Nationals went to Canada. The letter also lists total Regals for 1984 through 1987 that went to Canada. However, the heading says total Regals so based on that and the high numbers I think that may also include regular Regals for 1984 through 1987. PHOTO 3 - The letter to the left shows the breakdown for US distribution for 1983 though 1987. The letter to the right shows the Canada sales. Again you can clearly see not many Grand Nationals were sold in Canada for any year except in 1987. NOTE - ABOUT LINKS IN THE INNER CIRCLE - We have heard from a couple people that have had problems with the links in our Inner Circle. When we check the links, they work fine. However, if you are not able to be directed to the exact website page or internet site, you can "copy" and "paste" the link into the URL in your browser (such as Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, etc.) If it doesn't link in one browser, it may work in another. Most people having problems are using Internet Explorer. If you are having issues with links, try another browser to see if it works. You may need to "UPDATE" your browser to be used if you are using the current version. NOTE ABOUT PHOTOS ON THE WEBSITE - We have heard from a couple people that have viewed the photos on the website. Because these must be low-resolution photos to work on the Inner Circle segments on the website, any photos of text don't appear clear when enlarged. This is a problem when you are trying to see numbers, such as those on the VIN labels or pages from Options booklet. Also, because of photo reproduction and computer screen variations, the colors may not be true to the actual product or photo. If you would like to have us email you any photo at the higher resolution for viewing, just email us and we will email them to you.
